Thanks for the comment, Jasmin!
First of all, my goal is not to spread negativity and be a pessimist. But as a person who struggles to find success online, I think my story could help beginner creators who feel lost about which platfrom they should choose to turn their side hustle idea into something bigger.
I completely agree with you that if you want anything in life, then you have to be prepared to work A LOT and put the effort needed. But at the same time, I know that they are a couple of online creators who create illusions about making money on the Internet (e.g. how to gain your first 1000 followers in 1 month, or how I made X money after quitting my job etc.).
So, I think that they are a lot of aspiring creators out there (myself included when I started!) who believe that they can copy this kind of success, when in reality these people are scammers and make money by "advertising" their success story.
The point of my article is that you CAN make money online but:
- it's easier when you first build an audience in ONE platform and then trying to redirect your audience to another one.
- if you don't have enough time to spend on a side-hustle (because you have a full-time job/you are a student/you have kids etc.), then here are a couple of side-hustle ideas that didn't make money to ME. I never said that no one should start these side projects, if that's his passion. It's just my personal journey and what didn't work for me.
Sorry for the long explanation. Hope it's clearer now!
